This performance is a narrated musical journey through the composer’s 400km trek to Lubeck. CBC Radio host Tom Allen brings to life the coming-of-age story of “a hot headed, small town 20 year orphan named JS Bach, who narrowly avoids murder while seeking love, fulfilment and a father figure”. Allen is joined by musicians Suzie LeBlanc, Order of Canada opera singer, Lori Gemmell harp, David Harding viola, Leslie Dala pianist; guest appearance by Ed Norman. This memorable performance explores an early episode in the life of the famed composer.
